About Richard McMinn
My Chiropractic story begins in 1957. At that time my Uncle, who later became my mentor, had become a Chiropractor, and our family were beginning to understand the value of the Chiropractic Lifestyle. I was eight years of age at that time and I clearly remember having my first Chiropractic adjustment. It was at that point my career path was chosen and from that time I never wavered from wanting to be a Chiropractor.I never understood much, I only knew the feeling of being "set free" and feeling "wow - and wanting to help others to feel that way," and it was that feeling that carried me right through school, university and Chiropractic College. The idea of a drugless healing art that could prevent sickness and disease appealed to my young mind.
At the time I decided to pursue my education to be a Chiropractor, mature students were not allowed back to school to study.
